TAMRO Capital Partners is an investment adviser specializing in core US equities. Founded in June 2000, we are a majority employee-owned firm that offers our clients two strategies: Small Cap and Large Cap Core, which we brand under the name Diversified Equity. We employ an opportunistic, bottom-up investment process designed to generate strong performance through superior stock selection.

We are located in Alexandria, Virginia, and led by Philip Tasho, CFA, who is one of the founders of the firm. Philip is TAMRO’s Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer and is the architect of our rigorous, bottom-up approach to stock selection. TAMRO has one investment team that is responsible for the firm’s two investment strategies. The team structure is highly collaborative with daily interaction among the five members.
