Equity Analyst

Ron oversees investments in the Technology, Telecomm and Utilities sectors, as well as some industries within the Consumer Discretionary sector. His responsibilities include fundamental and quantitative equity analysis, and technical support for the Investment Team’s information systems and proprietary model. Ron joined TAMRO in April of 2005 after completing his MBA in Finance from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business where he was President of the MBA Investment Club and the leader of the highly selective Investment Management Academy that actively managed the endowment’s equity portfolio. He was formerly a registered representative with IFG Network Securities and more recently worked conducting research with Parchman, Vaughan & Company.

Ron’s hands-on experience as a consultant/trainer to corporations for both enterprise software and systems integration provide valuable insight into his analysis of technology companies. Ron has passed the Level I exam in pursuit of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is an affiliate member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Washington, DC.
